Our intention
Roots by Vera aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Current conformance status: [partially conformant — pending technical review].
Measures taken
- Semantic headings and landmarks so the page can be navigated by structure.
- Meaningful alternative text on photographs and archival imagery.
- Form fields with visible, associated labels and clear validation messages.
- Keyboard operability for navigation, the enquiry form and the cookie banner.
- Responsive layout that reflows on small screens and at increased zoom.
Known limitations
Areas still to be assessed include colour contrast in decorative sections, reduced-motion preferences for the animated illustrations, and screen-reader behaviour in the multi-step enquiry form: [to be confirmed by audit].
